Bo in Beauty and the Beast

Posted by Brigette Paterson on Wednesday, September 2008 | Permalink

Last time we brought news of Bo’s stellar onstage performance as Lumiere in the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre’s production of Beauty and the Beast, we were inundated with protests that we should have published the news earlier, to allow people time to get a ticket. This time, we’re doing as we’ve been told!

Bo won many hearts in his last performance as Lumiere, the romantic French candlestick. Producers of The Playlovers Inc’s Beauty and the Beast sought Bo out to see if he would star in their show, which will run at The Regal Theatre from 10 September to 4 October.

Everyone here at the roastery, and even the odd customer or two, can testify to Bo’s talent. We’ve been enjoying impromptu rehearsals for weeks now, with Bo crooning song after song from the Beauty and the Beast score. Which is wonderful, don’t get me wrong … Unfortunately for us, none of the other production boys have any singing talent at all … and they all like to join in. I can’t wait to hear Bo singing without five raucous, tuneless voices accompanying him.

Here’s a sneak peek of the advertisement for the show, featuring Bo’s sultry tones
