Mooba spreads it's wings

One of our favourites from the 5 Senses family of fine cafés — Mooba, is spreading its wings, and being believers in Mae West’s “too much of a good thing is never enough” philosophy, we couldn’t wait to bring you the good news!
As a lover of the finer things in life, especially the finer coffee-related things, I’m sure you’re well acquainted with Mooba, located on the corner of Jersey and Cambridge Streets in Wembley.
Mooba regulars know just how popular this café is. The crack team (including Tracey, who has the trophy to prove her place as one of WA’s best baristas) pump out an incredible volume of coffee for grateful caffeine addicts from Wembley and beyond. Owner, Mark Dillon, is bringing a second café into the fold, with Mooba Subiaco set to open its doors in late August/early September.
Mark has found a prime location and has convinced his sister-in-law Ilana and her partner Joie to return from the United States to manage the café.
Mark has some exciting ideas for Mooba Subiaco, including a menu focussing on wholefoods and to this end has consulted with one of Perth’s leading experts on organic and wholefoods, Jude Blereau. He is also venturing onto new ground with regards to their coffee, talking about tasting racks and drip-style coffee setups in the near future.
Early September sounds like the perfect time to catch up with your friends over coffee — at Mooba Subiaco!
Mooba Subiaco: Unit 3, 22 Railway Road, Subiaco (the street behind Ace Cinemas)
