2007 World Barista Championship results — Tokyo.

Breaking News: James Hoffman, UK Barista Champion, has been crowned the 2007 World Barista Champion. The win signifies the end of the most keenly attended championship ever with over 3000 spectators crowding to the event in Tokyo, Japan.

Also competing on the world stage was veteran barista Scottie Callaghan from NSW. After winning the World Latte Art Championship in 2006, Scottie once again represented Australia with his honed skills and passion for coffee. Official places have yet to be announced but keep your eyes on worldbaristachampionships.com for more details or check out this video on Scottie’s performance for yourself.

  • 1st place: James Hoffman from the UK
  • 2nd place: Heather Perry from the USA
  • 3rd place: WBC veteran, Carl Sara from New Zealand
  • 4th place: Miyuki Miyamae from Japan
  • 5th place: Anna Kaeppeli from Switzerland
  • 6th place: Silvia Magalhaes from Brazil
